Ruby Belle, Ruby Belle, I love you.

Here is little Miss Ruby at two months with her two biggest fans, Mommy and Daddy. She is a dream come true with baby blue eyes.

Time to Move On.

My, my I have been bad at this. Even worse than I thought. I am so behind in posts that I don't even know where to start. So I am going to pick up where I left off.

But first, I have to post this picture. It is of Grandma at Grandpa's memorial service and it just cracks me up. Thank you for all of your support this last month as we have said goodbye to this great man. I was so fortunate to spend this last year with and become so attached to him. It makes losing him all that much harder but I wouldn't trade it for anything. I miss him so much but am so happy for him and where he is.

Here is Grandma telling him to be 'a good boy' in heaven.

The King Quadruplet Angels

Introducing four little miracles! Jenna and Trever King welcomed these angel babies on December 30th, 2008. They are soooo tiny and yet sooo tough!

As I was taking their picture, I could see how hard they are working to get bigger and better as quick as they can. One would stretch out their arms as wide as they could, one would give me a thumbs up, another would kick a leg out, and another would open their eyes and look at me as if to say, 'Oh you just wait!.'

I am excited to see them in a year from now and see how far they have come and what huge, happy babies they are. Please keep Jenna, Trever, and big sister Eva in your prayers - they are becoming just as tough as their little ones in all of this.

Despite the massive amount of posts that need to happen, I must stop and pay tribute to a pretty amazing man we lost this week. Grandpa, (aka Robert Harold Smith), left us after a very long and happy 89 years. He was known for his love of golf, John Wayne, 'sweets', California, but most of all - his family.

Thank you Grandpa for always being so good to us. Thank you for letting me put curlers in your hair when I was a little girl. Thank you for being my little buddy this past year and always wanting to hold my hand. I love that even on that peaceful night you left us, that is exactly what we were doing.

I love you to bits.

Lindsey and Luis are Getting Hitched!

Lindsey (aka Lulu), a dear friend from High School, recently became engaged to dear Luis. I am so excited for them and anxiously (and nervously) awaiting their wedding next Christmas. They are having their reception at the Ballpark in Arlington and I cannot wait for that photo-op! Here is the first engagement session and by no means the last. Congrats Lulu and Luis and thanks for smiling on such a cold day!

Heading to the Snow Next Week!

Just letting everyone know that I will be in Salt Lake City January 22-27th if anyone wants to get a session in. The snow is so beautiful!

*ps - this is as close as I could get to a winter day in Texas. Utah - let it snow!

A Belated Beau Christmas

Here are a few shots of little Beau - now not so little and full of energy! His momma and I made all sorts of funny faces to get this little one to laugh. We were the ones laughing when he decided enough was enough and just simply crawled off the set. We tried again a few days later and were much more successful. Hope it was a great holiday for all!
