So there is a new man in my life. Yup - and he loves me very much. Much to my parent's dismay - he is but a dog. But at least we're on the right track!
Charlie the Italian Greyhound is a rescue-hound and the minute I walked in the door to meet him for the first time, it was like he had known me his whole life. I hadn't thought I wanted one as big as he is so I passed on him, yet he didn't pass one me. Apparentley he cried for two hours right after I left. So I went back to see him again and when I went to go a second time he tried to jump in my car. The third visit - that was it; he jumped in my car again and we were off. Most IG's are quite hyper and dare I say, snipppy (ie: my sister's devil dog aka Lexus the biter), but Charlie is such an angel. He is calm and quiet and all he wants to do is lean on my shoulder (which he is doing just as I write this).
Anyway - I was testing out some new lighting techniques to prepare for Saturday's shoot and I didn't have a model. Then I felt a little nuzzle on my leg. So here he is - Charlie in all of his glory on his favorite blanket looking at his favorite person in the whole world. Lucky me!

The Sawyer-saurus
Meet Sawyer Holden. Meet his mommy and daddy. His mommy is an amazing writer. His daddy is an amazing artist. Together they are going to be very famous one day as she writes and he illustrates their children's books (this is what I think they should do anyway). With all of this talent, can you imagine how smart Sawyer Holden is! Here are a few shots of them back in January (I am officially caught up now, I promise). Remember me when you are all famous, Holdens!
